KARAOKE COMPETITION
The competition is open to the first 96 entrants so be quick.
8 Weekly Heats: (Every Sunday Night from 8pm)
Starting:
Sunday 29th July 2007 to
Sunday 16th September 2007
Semi Final 1:
Sunday 23rd September 2007
Semi Final 2:
Sunday 30th September 2007
Grand Final:
Thursday 11th October 2007
The competition is open to all ages. (Amateur Performers Only)
Entry forms and competition rules are available from the club.
Contestants are required to sing two (2) songs in their heat. No song is to be repeated twice by the same performer during the competition. Songs containing bad or offensive language will automatically be disqualified
The same song cannot be performed in the heats on the same night. Song selections are based on a first come first serve basis.
Singers can sing from our song list, or are welcome to bring their own personal discs. A songbook will be left at Panthers reception to choose from and song selection must be recorded on your registration form
Note: Own discs are welcome in CDG or VCD format only. “No DVD’s”.
If a VCD is to be used please specify on the entry form if it is left or right channel. Only original copies or legitimate Pro-Burn discs will
be played.
Copy write discs will not be accepted or played and you will be turned away.
Each Heat will consist of 12 singers. This can be an individual or duet performance. (Strictly no Groups)
The best four singers from each heat will go through to one of two semi finals.
There will be two semi finals of sixteen. Six singers from each semi final will be selected and battle it out in the grand final.
The Grand Final will consist of twelve singers.
Major Prizes up for grabs.
